Confucius Institute at Wayne State University

Mission Statement

The Confucius Institute at Wayne State University, established with the authorization and appointment of the Office of Chinese Language International (Hanban), and in collaboration with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, is a non-profit program within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with the purpose of enhancing inter-cultural understanding of students and faculty at Wayne State University and residents of the metro-Detroit community by providing resources and programs related to Chinese language and culture.
